Breaking away from the guitar based band format, and being influenced by Drum ‘n’ Bass, Alt, and Electronica. Hayashi is a band playing music which would usually be performed using computers or sequencers playing loops. Hayashi play it live. It is a melodious break-beat experience with great big bass complemented by dark, beautiful vocals.

The band play a high energy set with sampled sounds complementing the music to create the same sound as the recorded material.

Hayashi are currently based in Leeds, with their recording facilities, Moonrock Studios, situated in Leeds LS6.
